Welcome and thank you for stopping by. My name is Jonathan Clark. Mission Art OBX has turned into a solo project of taking my talents and giving back into the community. What this means is that from every booked session or portrait sell, I donate 10% back to a local charity or organization. 

Living in such a beautiful place and being able to do something that I absolutely love to do each and every day, should not be overlooked. It is a gift. I am sure we have all heard the saying, "I may not be where I need to be but I am certainly not where I used to be", and this hold's true for my life. If it wasn't for others investing in me, I certainly would not be where I am today. I was met by love when I was at my lowest, I was loved even though I didn't feel like I deserved it and I was given second chances that has led to a life so beautiful that I couldn't have dreamed it more perfect. Not to mislead any of you, I have my struggles but the foundation here is essentially how important it is to give our time, talents or resources freely to someone who may not be as fortunate as we are.

In this, Mission Art OBX was born. I am able to take my time and talents and not only offer something unique for you, but I am able to take those resources and invest them into other people who may just need a second chance, someone who may need to know that there is healing on the other side of pain, and that at the end of the day we all fall short, we all struggle, and we can lift each other up with the simplest of gestures.

The two below scriptures are things that we live by. We always do our best to show grace & gratitude. We want to show people that we care and that encouragement can be so rewarding.

"Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves. Romans 12:10"

The below acknowledges that I can not do anything on my own. In my past I have been selfish and have thought that I had full control over my day to day life. The moment I understood that I had no control it became a humbling experience that I will never boast again but rather pay tribute to my beliefs in our creator.

"May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world. - Galatians 6:14"
